Hello, and welcome. I'm Eleanor Shaw, and I'll be your facilitator for the next ten minutes or so. It's about something happening in almost every NHS organisation: staff using public AI chatbots to save time, without approval. You'll play the executive director who is the trust's Senior Information Risk Owner at Northvale Health NHS Foundation Trust, a fictional trust. This morning you have learned that junior doctors in urgent care have been pasting patient details into a public AI chatbot to draft discharge letters.
