Hello, and welcome. I'm Eleanor Shaw, and I'll be your facilitator for the next ten minutes or so. This is a short simulation from Edvance Technologies, created by Vince James, the founder of Edvance Technologies, who designs simulations that help NHS leaders adopt AI and digital technology safely and responsibly. It is about a big system go-live, and the pressure to press the button when you are not sure it is ready. You'll play the senior responsible owner for the programme at Northvale Health NHS Foundation Trust, a fictional trust. The trust is moving its electronic patient record to a new cloud service. Go-live is set for Monday morning. It's Thursday afternoon, and the final readiness meeting is tomorrow. You'll read what has landed in your inbox, then make three decisions.
