Hello, and welcome. I'm Eleanor Shaw, and I'll be your facilitator for the next ten minutes or so. It is about buying AI: what to check before you sign, when everyone wants a quick yes. You'll play the executive director who must approve a new AI purchase at Northvale Health NHS Foundation Trust, a fictional trust. A supplier wants to sell the trust an AI tool that reads chest X-rays. Radiology is keen, finance has money that must be spent this month, and the supplier wants a signature by Friday. You'll read what has landed in your inbox, then make three decisions. You can speak or type each answer.
