Gaps in an AI board paper

Hello, and welcome. I'm Eleanor Shaw, and I'll be your facilitator for the next ten minutes or so. This is a short simulation from Edvance Technologies, created by Vince James, the founder of Edvance Technologies, who designs simulations that help NHS leaders adopt AI and digital technology safely and responsibly. It is about the board paper that sounds great, and what it leaves out. You'll play a non-executive director at Northvale Health NHS Foundation Trust, a fictional trust. Tomorrow, the board is due to approve rolling out an AI tool that predicts sepsis to every adult ward. The paper arrived late, and it's on the list of items to be approved without discussion.
